The Knowhow:
Before using your cake maker for the first time:
- Wipe the inside and outside with a damp cloth
- Dry well with a tea towel

- If you need to use soapy water, apply this to the cloth first and ensure it is completely wiped away
- Never use scouring pads or metal cleaning tools - these can damage the non-stick surface
- Gently use a plastic-bristled brushes or nylon pads to remove any remaining dirt
- Wipe the surfaces dry with a tea towel

- Never put your cupcake maker in water - this can cause dangerous electrical faults
- Always unplug the device after use
- Do not use your machine if it has been dropped or appears damaged
- Don't put the cupcake maker in the oven or on a heated hob
