The following instructions are for customers with a faulty Apple iPod under warranty.

The Knowhow

To arrange service of your Apple iPod please call AppleCare on 0844 209 0611or complete the online self service option (see link below):

  1. If you have a credit card, Apple will send a replacement unit, along with a box for the faulty one. If the faulty unit is not returned, or if the failure is due to accidental damage, the credit card will be charged for the replacement unit.
  2. If you don't have a credit card, Apple will send an empty box for the faulty unit. Once this is returned to Apple they will assess the fault. If it is an in warranty failure they will send out a replacement unit. If it's accidental damage they will return the faulty unit to the customer.
