The Knowhow
Before we explain how to use Advent Recovery, we need to give you some important information:
- This process will erase ALL data. Your music, email, pictures, documents and other important files will be deleted.
- Make a backup of everything you need to keep, before starting Advent Recovery.
To recover your Advent:
- As soon as you press the power button on the computer, press F8

You will see an Advanced Boot Options menu screen, select Repair Your Computer

Once the recovery program has loaded, select Reinstall Windows

On the next screen select Start Full Destructive Recovery

Another screen will be shown and you will need to put a tick into the box to start recovery. It will also give you another warning about data loss.
- Press the arrow that points to the right and the process will begin automatically
Your computer will take around 30-45 minutes to complete this and can be left to get on with it. Once finished, Windows Vista will be reinstalled and your computer will be just like the day you bought it.
